Immigration Update!!!
Residency papers submitted on Friday 29 August 2008...quite an uneventful excercise.
I thought that Ill be proactive and personally hand deliver the documents..only to be told by the very friendly immigration lady to "drop them in the drop box".
So that is where they are now..in the drop box..our life...in a drop box

Waikanae
Waikanae is one of the prettiest towns in New Zealand in its setting of river, bush, mountain and beach.
Waikanae (pronounced Why-kah-nye) is a small town on New Zealand's Kapiti Coast. The name is a Māori word meaning "The waters of the yellow eyed mullet".
The town is about 60 kilometres north of Wellington,, and is between the towns of Paraparaumu, eight kilometres to the southwest, and Otaki, 15 kilometres to the northeast.
