Job Offer

Its been 2 weeks since I left South Africa..no regrets..just missing my people..

After 1 week in NZ I have been made a very nice job offer by a meat producing company as Technical Coordinator..yes to all those skeptics..here I am..with a job offer in hand. Strangely enough I had no contact with this company until I arrived in NZ..(so much for all the telephonic interviews and cv's I sent from SA).

So where are we now.. I will be submitting all the documents to apply for my work permit on Monday, normally this takes 5 working days (not 6-8 weeks)..so hold thumbs..almost there!! If all goes well I will start work on 28 July..exactly 3 weeks after arriving here.

I have not lost the "honey moon" feeling. Everything is still amazing and beautiful..
