Fortunately the architects also added a kitchen! Most helpful when entertaining guests!! The house comes standard with oven, stove, fridge, wahing machine and tumble dryer - we'll have to store our own when the container arrives!!!

The RVR Club!! So cheap, so cool, so 2nd hand, but what an awesome little AWD!!! The following is a series of RVR's of the 3 families each with their RVR's. Tiny & Esme also drive a RVR and so does Paulus & Saskia - all ex SA!! :-) Spot the pattern??

Niel & Ilse arrive in Wellington with their RVR to give me a lift back home - they just needed an excuse to drive around!!! :-) You know what it's like to buy a new car!!

Sonja at the "testing station" with Henk's new RVR

3 Families, 3 RVR's - all EX SA... Starting to see the pattern?? :-)

Henk, now the proud owner of a RVR!! No house or garage yet, but hey, he's mobile!!!! And besides, you can take the back seats out and sleep in the back :-)

Last but not least, our own RVR on Tatahi Beach. Tiny's Isuzu Big Horn next to it - his other car also a RVR!! Go figure. On this beach, as many other, there are demarcated areas where you can drive up to your "picnic" spot on the beach and park right there!!!
Trekking up the green hills of Makara to reach higher ground looking west to the South island's northern tip...

The two of us at a rocky thingy!!!

And off course, the all famous NZ sheepies!!!!!!!!!!
